Chuck a Puck for our Furry Friends - January 2nd, 2010
THE BRANDON WHEAT KINGS & PHYSIO FIRST "CHUCK-A-PUCK" EVENT

The Wheat Kings and PhysioFirst's “Chuck-a-Puck” event on January 2, 2010 was held with proceeds from puck sales to help Funds for Furry Friends.

Fans attending the game Saturday night were able to purchase a (numbered) foam puck before the game and during the first intermission. Immediately following the second period of play, those fans get to toss the purchased pucks toward the center ice face-off circle. The puck closest to center ice was the recipient of a prize package, supplied by the rescue.

A special thanks goes out to all those came to help sell pucks for the charity - Dana & Evan Holden, Sandy & Sawyer Walter, Carlene Lukey, Tracee Schwartz and the rescue's four directors.
