Traveller's Day Parade - June 6th, 2009
FUNDS FOR FURRY FRIENDS PAWS IN MOTION

On Saturday, June 6th, 2009 Funds for Furry Friends put their paws in motion, and marched the streets of Brandon in the Traveller's Day Parade! We would like to extend a great big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came with their furry friends to walk in the parade. Because of the outstanding support and participation from the many volunteers and friends that came out to support the rescue and walk in the parade - the rescue received a second place ribbon!

The rescue was also invited to speak at the Brandon Fair in the UCT Pavillion, and at 3:00pm. A special thanks goes out to Karen Oliver for inviting us to give a presentation on the rescue and the benefits of pet ownership.
