The Second Annual Caged for Critters Event - May 30th, 2009
UPSTANDING MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IMPOUNDED FOR OUR FURRY FRIENDS!

On Saturday, May 30th the rescue hosted our second annual Caged for Critters event in the Home Depot parking lot at the entrance to the Corral Center. Many notables from the community and surrounding areas came to spend time in a “cage” to raise funds for the many cats and dogs that pass through the rescue’s doors each year. (See the pictures below.)

This year's event was one of our most successful, raising almost $10,000 for the rescue! The support of many amazing volunteers, that offered their time and individual skills to help at the event - and the brave souls who volunteered to spend time "caged" to help raise money for charity were a critical part of the success of this event.
